Kate Lee is the co-founder of AKA First Aid Training and a senior instructor delivering our courses.
Kate spent most of her working life as a cabin manager for Monarch Airlines, travelling to many parts of the world, in that time she has had extensive aviation First Aid Training and dealt with varying incidents on board her flights.
About 11 years ago, Kate decided to use her experience as a cabin manager and start a career in training. She was approached by a training company in London and after passing her teaching qualifications began teaching adults wanting to work in the aviation industry. Then during the latter part of 2014, she decided to leave Monarch and concentrate on training first aid, taking an intensive First Aid teacher training Course with one of the UK’s leading training companies ProTrainings.
Over the last seven years, Kate has trained many people in all aspects all First Aid. Most of the work is connected to schools, whether it be the teaching staff or the pupils themselves. However, Kate have trained office staff right through to construction workers. Kate is looking forward to doing more courses in schools with the children as Basic Life Support has now officially become part of their curriculum.
Kate has also recently qualified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and a Safeguarding Instructor and is now able to offer courses in those areas.
