12 Hour Paediatric Infant/Child First Aid

Resus dummy torso

This is a Pro Trainings course that meets the requirements laid down by Ofsted, EYFS and SureStart for those working with children including childminders, carers, nursery workers, teachers and nannies.

The course is 12 contact hours, over a minimum of 2 days and is valid for 3 years. The same course must then be repeated to revalidate. To save time in the classroom, we offer a blended version of the same course. Half of the course is completed with Pro Trainings using their video online training followed by a 6 hour day in the classroom. The HSE strongly recommend that all first aiders complete an annual refresher and this can be completed online.

Learners have the option to take this course as a regulated course. The course covers the same subject but has additional assessment criteria and an extra charge for certification.

This course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted CPD guidelines (Continuous Professional Development) and comes with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a Pro Trainings Certificate. This course comes with 12 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less.
